Step 1. Download the files given in the download section above. Extract the Huawei multi-tool V8 file and install it on your device.
Step 2. Power off your device. Reboot your Honor 7X in fastboot mode, Hold the Volume Down key + Poweroff key simultaneously.
Step 3. Once you Honor 7X is in fastboot mode, Connect it to the PC via USB cable.
Step 4. Now, Click on the Huawei Multi-tool V8 > Recovery tab > Click on Select Image button > Select TWRP image file > Click on Flash Recovery.Step 5. Once the process gets completed, power off your device. Extract the update.zip file.
Step 6. Go to the Huawei Multi-tool software > Unbrick tab > click on Launch Huawei Update Extractor. Now, Click on the dot button beside Update File option and select UPDATE.APP file from the extracted folder.
Step 7. Once done Right-click on the empty space > choose the option Extract all to extract the folder updateappone.
Step 8. Now select the file Vendor.img and copy it to the external storage on your Honor 7X. Reboot your device into recovery mode. Power off your device and Press the Power off + Volume Up button simultaneously to
Step 9. Once you are in Recovery mode, Click on Wipe > Advanced Wipe and select all the available partitions > Swipe right to wipe the data.
Step 10. Go back to Recovery menu Install > Install IMG. Then select Vendor.img file that you stored in the external storage of your device. Swipe right to confirm flash.
Step 11. Power off your device and connect it to the PC in fastboot mode.
Step 12. Now extract the Zip file update_full_BND-device-model_hw_your-region and you will see UPDATE.APP file. Extract the UPDATE.APP file too. When extracted you will find cust.img file. If you find any other .img file rename it to cust.img.
Step 13. Copy this cust.img file to the updateappone folder. Go to Huawei Multi-tool software > Click on Unbrick> Click on Specify folder > Select the updateappone folder > Click on Unbrick button and wait for the process to get completed. Reboot to finish the process.
This is the easiest way to unbrick Honor 7X!
